Our world seems to be on fire with chaos, war, threats, crises, and disasters. Even here in America, we’ve had an attempted assassination of our former president, Donald Trump.
In this world of noise, the gentle whisper of faith can be heard, calling hearts to a deeper connection with our Lord Jesus Christ. From the bustling streets of urban centers, to the terrain of remote villages, the message of hope and redemption transcends boundaries and cultures. It is this divine tapestry, woven with threads of love, compassion, and service, that we are privileged to be a part of through our mission work with 16 partnerships in 8 countries.
Here are a few examples of how this has happened through Global Missions 365 in recent weeks:
BECAUSE OF YOU, the Haller Orphanage, a children's rescue mission in the Congo, received a much-needed vehicle to transport supplies for the children.
BECAUSE OF YOU, our partner, Christina Hillesheim, was able to travel from Croatia to be with family at her dad’s funeral.
BECAUSE OF YOU, our partner, Abraham Mudidi, received his first ever vehicle for his family and ministry. He just finished training in Kananga, with 168 participants from 42 churches!
BECAUSE OF YOU, A total of 17 adults and youth are being sent to Echo Ranch Bible Camp in Juneau, Alaska, throughout the summer! In addition, you help support the Schoenthaler Family as missionaries to Echo Ranch Bible Camp.
BECAUSE OF YOU, we were able to provide medical, dental, and optical care to meet the needs of many people in the West Amazon Basin. Our team also participated in church planting and evangelistic outreach.
WE DO ALL THIS BY CONNECTING. COLLABORATING. CARING. COACHING.
These are just a few snapshots. There are more – many more, but these examples demonstrate how crucial your support is, and how effective our vetted partners are in their respective ministries. Our mission is not just to share the gospel, but to live it out in ways that resonate with the unique beauty and heritage of the people we serve. Your unwavering prayers and support have been the backbone of our work. Together, we are not just building bridges between diverse ethnic cultures and economic groups, but we are creating a symphony of faith that is echoing the boundless grace of God, building communities, distributing Bibles, training leaders, planting churches, caring for children in distress, helping those in adverse and hostile circumstances, and bringing peace, kindness, and hope to all people within our areas of influence.
Our “IMMEASURABLY MORE” initiative to raise $1 MILLION is moving forward! The GOOD NEWS is we now have $415,769! We are so grateful! This leaves the challenge of raising $84,231 to reach our $500,000 goal by this October. Much money is being given to political causes and candidates during these pivotal months leading up to our election. We must be supportive of candidates and policies that bring hope and health to our nation. It’s good to remember our great nation was founded on gospel principles which gave us the country our families enjoy. Our mission undergirds the best of governments here and in communities and countries where we take the gospel. As Franklin Graham emphasized recently, the gospel is the primary need in all circumstances!
